Process and Fees

The first step to getting the help you need is to call our office.  Our well-trained and compassionate staff with work with you to find the therapist that is best suited to fit your needs.
Assessment Process

The first step in counseling is to clarify the client’s goal(s) through an assessment. Most frequently, this can be done through a simple discussion with your therapist. This clinical assessment begins at the first appointment. Other times, however, psychological tests may be recommended to help identify the source of a problem.

At Samaritan Counseling Center, we understand that individuals and families have busy schedules. We can schedule your appointment for daytime or evening hours. Call the administrative office at (574) 277-0274 between 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday – Friday, to make your first appointment.

We offer a variety of payment options. We accept insurance and are in-network providers for a variety of HMO’s and managed care organizations. Additionally, in special circumstances, a portion of the client’s fees may be subsidized through the Client Assistance Fund, funded by donations.
